Pour water into the pot, plug it in, and the mist maker in the bottom turns that water into a steady cloud — at least 300 ml an hour, rising up out of the cauldron. Twelve LEDs under the water cycle through yellow, blue and red on their own, so the glow keeps moving without you touching anything. Pot, mist maker and adapter all ship together, so there is nothing else to buy and nothing to rig.

How it works

  • Fill the pot with water. The mist maker runs in 40–70 mm of water, which is about 1.6 to 2.8 inches deep.
  • Sit the mist maker in the water and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  • It starts making mist — at least 300 ml an hour — and the 12 LEDs change color by themselves, yellow to blue to red.
  • The water level drops as it runs, because the mist is the water leaving the pot. Top it up to keep it inside that 40–70 mm band.

Good to know

  • It plugs in. This is not cordless and there is no battery in it. From the outlet you get about 1.9 m / 6 ft in total — 0.7 m of adapter cable, then 1.2 m from the adapter to the mist unit. That is short. Measure the run to your nearest outlet before you decide where it sits, and plan on an extension cord if the table is further away than that.
  • Water and mains power in one object. Use it indoors or somewhere covered. Keep the adapter and the plug dry, and unplug it before you fill it or empty it.
  • The IP67 rating covers the mist unit only — the part that is meant to sit under water. The adapter and the cable are not weather rated.
  • Plain water, nothing else. It makes mist from the water you pour in. There is no fluid to buy and nothing to refill but the water.
  • Watch the water level. We do not have a low-water cut-off figure for this one, so top it up rather than letting it run dry.
  • Temperature range. It is rated to run between +1 °C and +40 °C, about 34–104 °F. A freezing night is outside what it is built for.
  • The accessories pack is not itemised on the parts list, so we are not going to promise you what is in it. What we can promise is the pot, the mist unit, the adapter and the manual.

Shipping

Ships in 4–7 days once the order is processed. Order by October 10 for Halloween delivery. That is the honest cut-off: transit runs 4–7 days on top of handling, and past October 10 we cannot promise it lands before the 31st.
