Do the floating candles really float?

They hang on the clear wire that comes in the box, from the sticky hooks that also come in the box. From a few feet away the wire disappears and they look like they are floating. That is the whole trick, and it works.

Do I need batteries?

For the Floating Candles, yes: 24 AA batteries (two per candle) and one AAA for the wand remote. They are not included, so grab a multipack when you order. For the LED Spider Dog Costume, the battery box is built in.

Can any of this go outside?

The Hanging Pumpkin-Ghost is made for a porch, a doorway or a tree branch, under cover. The floating candles and the figurine are indoor items. Nothing here should sit out in open rain.

The pumpkin-ghost keeps going off. Why?

He is sound-activated and he is sensitive, which is the point on trick-or-treat night and a nuisance the rest of the time. There is a power switch. The maker recommends switching him off in noisy or windy spots.

How do I know the dog costume will fit?

Measure your dog's neck and the widest part of the chest, then check the size table on the product page. The Small fits a neck of 9.5–13.8 in and a chest of 13.8–18.1 in. If your dog is bigger than that, email us rather than guessing — we will tell you when larger sizes land.

When will my order arrive?

Orders leave the warehouse in 1–2 business days. The costume is then 1–2 days in transit; everything else is 3–7. See Order-by Dates & Shipping for the Halloween cut-offs.
