Halloween Solar Skeleton Hand Stake Light, Glows at Dusk

A hand comes up out of the lawn. After dark it lights itself.

By day it is a skeletal hand on a ground spike, with a skull moulded into the palm. Once the light goes, it glows warm amber from the inside. The solar panel beside the base charges it while the sun is up, so there is no wire to run out to it and no switch to remember.

How it works

• Push the spike into soil somewhere that gets sun for most of the day.
• The panel beside the base charges the built-in cell while the sun is up.
• At dusk the lamp switches itself on and glows warm amber. No switch to flip, no timer to set.
• Sun in, glow out. A shaded spot takes less charge, so give it a full day of direct sun before the first night you want it lit.

Good to know

• One hand per lamp. The 1 Hand option ships one hand. Any photo showing a row of them is showing more than one lamp.
• IP55 means weather-resistant, not waterproof. Rain and sprinklers are what it is built for. It is not made to go under water, or to stand in it.
• The cell is built in and charges from the panel. There is nothing to buy and nothing to open up.
• No run-time or brightness number. We do not have a tested figure for how long it glows or how bright it is, so we are not going to print one. How long it runs after dark depends on how much sun it got that day.
• No verified height. We do not have a measured height for the hand and we are not going to guess at one. The single ships in a box 18 × 9 × 9 cm, about 7 × 3.5 × 3.5 in, which is the most we can honestly tell you about its size.
• It mounts on a spike, so it needs soil or a planter deep enough to hold it — a hard surface will not take it.

Shipping

Ships in 4–7 days once the order is processed. Order by October 10 for Halloween delivery. That is the honest cut-off: transit runs 4–7 days on top of handling, and past October 10 we cannot promise it lands before the 31st.
